Dirty Laundry

A modern-day prodigal son story with a twist, the film follows the Davis family. They are a traditional southern family lead by Evelyn, who is brilliantly played by Loretta Devine (Dreamgirls,Waiting To Exhale), dealing with the return of Patrick, played by Rockmond Dunbar (Prison Break, Soul Food). After ten years, Patrick has returned to discover a secret that could rock his seemingly “perfect” life as a New York magazine writer. But wait, Evelyn’s own story holds as much drama and secrecy as her son’s. As various secrets are revealed, we take a riotous ride with this family as they deal with all of the unresolved issues that have been brewing for years. The film features standout performances from Jenifer Lewis (Cars, Madea’s Family Reunion), Queen of Comedy Sommore, Terri J. Vaughn (The Steve Harvey Show, Daddy’s Little Girls) and a surprise turn from Writer-Director Maurice Jamal. Supermodel and TV host Veronica Webb and gospel legend Dr. Bobby Jones also make notable appearances.

Forget Chris Brown’s This Christmas… this is the holiday movie to see.
