Super talented Demarco Majors makes a huge splash for the year. Out Magazine is honoring him as one of the heavy movers and shakers of 2007. OUT 100 | The 100 Men and Women who Rocked 2007. For those of you unfamiliar with him, Mr. Majors became one of the first to come out on the basketball court (yes, even before John Amaechi.)

I first found out about him in the April 2006 issue of CLIK Magazine, where he talked about athletes in the locker room, years of sexual abuse as a child, and his plans for the future. And aside from him winning the gold at the 2006 Gay Games in Chicago, I’m sure this honor will propel him even further for next year.
